I need to borrow a book.

Does anyone have a copy of Paul Nation's Learning Vocabulary in Another Language? I have orderd a copy from amazon.com, but it won't be arriving until November 29th and my course started yesterday. If you have a copy and could bear to be parted with it for a couple of weeks I would happily pay all shipping costs (from you to me and back to you). My friend and colleague is taking the same course as me and his book won't arrive until the 26th.

Any help would be appreciated; name your reward!

You can read chunks of it (but alas not all) at: http://books.google.com/books?id=sKqx8k8gYTkC&printsec=frontcover&dq=Learning+Vocabulary+in+Another+Language&sig=EF14ZsL0CncgRaxugCjhKa6WOgU#PPR1,M1

Sorry I can't be more helpful...

I know someone who could possibly have a copy - as he is doing his PhD with Nation!! You know him, too, I think! He is a fellow KOTESOLer and used to be active. Heh... Let me ask him now.

Ah... I just called him and he said you already emailed him!!!! Great.

Hi there. We may very well be doing the same course.

I borrowed the book from the 국제영어대학원도서관 (International Graduate School of English) which is located near Olympic Park (North Gate#2)
Pretty good library for these sorts of books. A membership was easy to get; just show your Vic ID card and lay down a 50k deposit.
They had a couple of copies of this book.
I reckon i'll have this one for another month or so until i get around to buying my own.
