Is it possible to get a family relations visa to Korea if you have been living together with a Korean citizen for years but didn't marry yet? Many western countries provide this type of visas for cohabiting couples, but I couldn't find similiar information about Korea..
Thanks |

There is no such VISA like that in Korea.

I'm sitting here wondering what countries have a family VISA for cohabiting couples and can't think of one. In America they have rights under the law like a married couple -especially if they seperate - but I don't think they have a family VISA. |

So, If I get this correctly, you are living in Europe with a Korean girl who you never married, and now she wants to come back to Korea. She wants you to come with her, but you two aren't married and you want to come to Korea with her, get an F class VISA and work here, but sill not get married. Good luck with that.
Why don't you two just get married and then you can get a VISA? |

It's more like me who wants to come back and I just don't want to get married for a visa. Maybe later but not right now. |

You've lived with her for how long? And you don't know if you want to marry her yet?
With the new regs coming down the pipes, I'd get married. |

Not only must you be legally married but if you marry overseas then your overseas marriage must be officially recognized in Korea and recorded in your Koren spouse's family registration book otherwise you are NOT married in Korea. |

That depends on the state. The US doesn't have too many federal laws relating to marriage and cohabitation. |

That shouldn't be too hard. Australia is full of purverts. Like Mark Twain said, Satan made Australia. And I would add, that he still owns it. Australia, the land God forgot. |
