The wife and I are planning to go to Japan this Xmas for a few days. We are looking for a place with a nice hot springs. Any ideas?

Beppu is a huge onsen city on Kyushu so is pretty easy to get to from busan....
I went to an outdoor onsen in Nagano that was amazing...
It was snowing and we were sitting outside in the onsen in the perfect hot water watching the snow fall in the hills around us...incredible. |
