okay, so I was riding the subway the other day (and yes I look asian) just sitting and reading my book (english) when this incredibly cute girl (we're talking danica mckellar here, aka winnie from the wonder years) sits down next to me.

After about two stops she's 'sleeping' and puts her head on my shoulder. I'm playing it off like I'm just reading my book minding my own business. But she's obviously not sleeping because she keeps answering her handphone and then goes directly back to putting her head on my shoulder and rubbing her knee against mine.

I've had guys who were really sleepy lean over on me, but I just lean forward so that they fall a bit and wake up or give them a little elbow knudge. But since this was a cute girl, I indulged in the moment.

But here's the kicker, she's been picking up her phone and such, she does this one stop before I have to get off and then goes back to cuddling with me. Then when I get up to leave she gets off the car and catches the subway going THE OTHER WAY.

So my question is, is this normal? Was she trying to pick me up or trying to steal my wallet?(my wallet was on that side and intact) Should I have asked for her phone number? or just said something like "ahem, are you comfortable?" to get a convo. started?

opinions please.

$%@^%%^!!! you fool!!!!
what the hell is wrong with you, letting such an opportunity pass you by?!

okay, to be fair, i've missed fantastic opportunities as well. time to get some name cards made, if you don't have any already. that would have been a perfect opportunity to plant one on her, in a pocket, in her bag, whatever.
you could have tried to strike up a conversation with her, but you would have risked coming off as rude for not letting her pretend to sleep. (or something) or she might have suddenly lost her nerve if you talked to her, especially if you look asian and don't speak korean.
if you had planted your card on her somewhere, then it's clear to her that you're interested, and she can get in touch with you when she gets her nerve up.
also, it's a good idea to have a mobile phone so that her initial contact with you can be a text message. it doesn't take quite as much nerve to send a text message as it does to make a phone call. i've got a book on all of this in the works right now. good luck.

Great! She knows absolutely nothing about you and she's cuddling up to you. My first thought would be ~is this a woman who I could trust to remain faithful? Sounds a lot like the wife of Hosea. You don't need the mind games -trust me on this.

well I wouldn't say nothing. She knows:

1. I'm cute Razz
2. I'm well dressed
3. I can speak or at least read english.
4. I'm cool.

I admit that things like this never happen when I'm wearing jeans and my leather jacket. Only when I'm in a suit and tie.

But your point is taken.

opinion: you choked big time. You make the Oakland A's play-off performances look good; Grady Little would be proud too. You will (and should) be kicking yourself over and over for not doing anything.

What? Can you actually see, or are you reading this forum through Braille?

Don't dis Winnie. Winnie's all that. Though she looks kind of goofy now that she's grown up and on West Wing.

In Korea Winnie would be ugly because her eyes are lacking the colour that people call blue.
