Is he supposed to be from the US?

Yes, he's supposed to be American.

The guy who does him also did Dennis Pennis (the rude interviewer guy) years and years ago. His name is Paul Kaye, i think.

Yeah, I checked and that is the guy from "Blackball." Ever seen that movie? It was pretty good for one of the "distributed by" National Lampoon's movies. It's all about "bowls" or English Lawn Bowling.

So, English folk, is "bowls" a common and popular sport in England?

In college we played drunk Bocci ball all the time. It seems like it's similar based on what I could glean from the movie.

Is this a new show by Pennis? I thought I saw him do this character at the height of his fame in the early 90's.
