Hi! I have a blender and rice cooker I a want to take back to Canada. They run on 220 Voltage. Are they useless in Canada? Or, can i buy voltage adapters for them?

Thanks.

No, they aren't useless. You need a step-down transformer. You can
probably find a dealer in such items on the net. In Van there are lots
because a lot of HKers brought such things in the 1997 HK diaspora.

Um, I have a Korean phone with it's charger - And a universal adaptor. How can I check about charging this up at home? (in UK) Will it just blow it out?

The charger for my MP3 player is designed for Korean plugs, and all it needed was a plug adapter and it works fine. I'd assume your phone charger will work the same way. What you should be asking is whether your phone will work in the UK

Is Canada a 110 volt country like the US? The appliance would only run at half speed or power or not work at all, unless it take a cord with a step down transformer like computers and cell phones where you can get a 110v version if it is not dual voltage. Most electronics requiring a step down are duel voltage, but that blender would probably run at half speed that it does in Korea while the rice cooker would only get half as hot as it does in Korea.
