When will EPIK teachers be asked to officially re-sign? Will we know the new E-2 regs. by then. I wonder as I intend to re-sign but if the regs. come through as draconian as they might then there's no way in hell I am going to stay here.
I cannot realistically understand how they expect EPIK teachers due to renew in March to actually do so. If we have to wait out criminal record checks in our home countries we won't be available to teach in the spring.
What are the consequences of re-signing to get the extra vacation and then not actually returning for the next semester?
What if the regs. aren't so bad and you do re-sign, get the extra vacation, but you are offered a university gig in the interim? |

If so, is it stalled or paused right now? |

i'm in the process of signing for GEPIK and the only reason I think I am stalled is because I graduate in December and I won't have my diploma so send in. My recruiters are also waiting for the new medical check forms, regualtions on criminal checks, and the new self medical form. I assume I'll be waiting until at least Decemeber 15th to be able to get any paperwork started. |
