Maybe the problem is we've seen more recent pics of them as grandmothers. |

Ok so '62 if my memory serves. So that means the big sex symbols would have been from the mid 50s as the up and comers, and the late 40s as the icons. Putting about my Dad's age (sorry to make you feel old he'll be 62 in June). Am I close in my logic?
So what about Raquel Welch (I think I have the right woman, the caveman movie, 5000 BC or something like that) I remember seeing a pin-up girlie poster of her in the animal print one piece thing.
Isn't this also the time period for the beignning of the whole Playboy centerfolds and the cupcake magazines?
The only reason I'm asking is because the when you grew up and what was held to be the standard has bearing on why someone (or one type of female body) is more appealing than another one. Personally I know that I am attracted to one type of guy more than another because it's what I grew up with and what was first presented to me as being a "good example of beauty". |
What kind of woman-body type to I like? Sure, me like most other men have a dark private side and more acceptable public side.
In private and when I'm in the LA vicinity and when I have an extra 200 roses I seek women like this from the likes of Craigs list.

In public, I'd find women like her attractive...
T aka S - Thanks a million for that photo. That movie was killer. I spent 10 years on the border looking for the "adventure" I saw in that film.

Ah see now I think we are getting to the root of the difficulty....you are possibly having a conflict between the private/public desire....or the I want x but everything/everybody says I should want y. Just a thought... |
