Had only had migraines twice in my life before moving to Korea. Had them one a week for a while. You are welcome to kick me in the balls (not that I have any,) give me chronic food poisoning and charley horses if I can never have a migraine again.
(I just recently got Safari 3.0.4. The web spell check is the most awesome thing! Why do any of you not have it? I may, one day soon, learn to spell migraine.) |

| Obviously none of you have ever had a back strain. Nothing is more immobilising, painful and frustrating than back problems. Seriously. |

Whiplash.
Though I was surprised how debilitating torn knee ligaments, ankle sprains and achilles heel injury can be (from a slightly off-course cliff jumping incident).
Still... I fear - DREAD - calf knots in a way I don't anything else.
Migraines of course are worse but so easy to medicate, hence doesn't end up hurting as much if caught early, allowing for a sweet night's sleep. |

Voted headaches.
Technically, stubbing your toe hurts the most, but it's over soonest. Stomach aches can always be waited out. Couple hours, it's gone. Headaches sometimes stick around for days. Hate headaches. |

If you include stomach "pangs" from not eating or drinking so much as a drop of water for 5 days? Yes, I would agree. Wow, talk about stomach pain. Non-stop for the last two of those five days, and painful enough that I couldn't sleep more than 30-45 minutes a night.
You don't know desperation in a man until you see him cry over receiving his sippy cup so he can finally drink some water. |

| No-brainner as a swift kick in the privates will crumple an crimple any guy. A spinal tap will be second on the list or any back injury. I'm surprised a punch in the nose didn't make the poll. Even a slight bump will cause tears to gush just as quickly as blood. |

I've had migraines, hamstring charlie horses (holy shit), been sacked, drove a nail through my foot, tore a rotator cuff (muscle in my shoulder) and cracked a kneecap once.
The worst pain I remember (I might not remember so well, it was 1987) was when I went over the high jump and the mats were apart so I landed square on the small of my back on the ground. Couldn't walk for a couple weeks.
I don't get migraines anymore but I remember one where I was throwing up and the only relief for a few hours was to sit in the bathroom with the lights off sticking my head in a sink full of cold water.
Anyone else had charlie horses in their hamstrings? Again, holy shit! |

A friend in uni had a sisters whose kneecaps had been surgically removed for osme reason. They replaced it with something to protect the area underneath, but anytime she bumped her knee even SLIGHTLY, you'd see her face immdiately turn white as a sheet, and seconds later she's puke from the pain. |

| I doubt she'd want to run into a concrete baseball dugout at top speed knee-first then. |

i had to be taken to the hospital for a headache.
never been to hospital for any of the others. i've also had headaches last for days.
edit: i found that Imitrex (injection) works best for migraines, but you have to give yourself a shot. (though if you're having a migraine, the pain of a shot isn't particularly scary) |

Awesome. Is it available in Korea? Any idea how much without insurance? I don't want to talk about what I take for migraines, but it's not migraine medicine. |

I'm not sure why people don't use it, but it's in the latest versions of Firefox too |

I agree. Nothing will make you cry faster or take your breath away. Eww, I'm almost crying now just thinking about it. |
