Do I have to show my ARC when leaving the country for vacation, or is my Passport ok, I lost it and I'm supposed to leave tomorrow.

i have another ARC question....it sounds like my school are messing about big time (not paying taxes i believe, not paying medical insurance or pension either) and my co worker now thinks that the two of us are registered as "self employed". also according to one of the kids in his class, the school address is on the card but we're registered to some factory town, and not actually where we live! is there meant to be a stamp on the back of the card where it says "period of stay"?
this whole thing is really annoying me....this is my first time in korea and ive only been here 7 weeks!!

You may be asked to show it but if you have your re-entry permit in your passport you should be fine. If there is a problem you can get it sorted at the immigration counter located in the hallway behind checkin counter "F" of the departures hall.

It means you have a new card with no changes.

A new ARC will only have markings on the front. Read the webpage. It is NOT rocket science.

The face of your card will have:

1. Registration Number : first six digits(birth date) - last seven digits(personalized number)
2. Name : name as appears on passport
3. Nationality : nationality as appears on passport
4. Place of stay : address in Korea
5. Status of sojourn
6. Date of issue, Expiry date
7. Issuing office

You only get marks on the back when you make changes to your status of sojourn or permitted activities.
