I have been offered another job and was wondering what the best way of quitting my current job is? Sounds simple, huh? Well hold back on the wiseguy replies until i give you some details.

I work in an elementary school and my contract says i need to give 60 days notice. The new job wants me there asap.

I am getting a new job but i don't think it will be an E2 visa because it's not a teaching job. Can i swap visas or do i need to cancel my current visa?

How do i go about getting a letter of release?

What other problems might i encounter that i haven't mentioned?

best case, I think, is that you will have to pay back your airfare and maybe the recruiter fee and your employer will cancel your visa for you;

more likely- your employer will be upset and there will be problems.....

There are some contracts, not sure if it's with GEPIK or SMOE, that state a letter of release will NOT be granted, so you should check for that first. Talk to your co-teacher or vice principal about the situation and try to work something out

I won't be paying back any flights or recruiter fee. If they try that i'll be getting in touch with immigration. Speaking of which does anyone know the phone number for Incheon Immigration office.

If they can't help me i'll haul my ass back home. My school have been nothing but cunts to me so this should be no suprise. I'll be back home for Christmas so if the shit hits the fan i'll just stay home.
