I'm currently mulling over accepting a job with these guys. I know it's a big chain and all, but if anyone has any information on things like reliability, work environment etc then I'd be most grateful.

When I worked for the chain:

1: Split shifts are hell. When you are free in the afternoon everyone else is working and they stay up late when you have to go to bed. It sucks bad.

2: The money was lower than other schools.

3: The vacations were horrible. Schools had set vacation times that couldn't be changed.

4: If there was a holiday during the month they would deduct the day from your overtime. They also paid overtime in 3 months blocks....so there was a couple of holidays and your overtime went bye-bye.

--There are many more things but I am depressed thinking about my year there.

I was always paid on time. That's what I liked best about BCM and I had some nice Korean co-workers, too, but that's about it. The split shift gets pretty dreary after a while. The rest is pretty much true, but I did not work in Gangnam but in the burbs.
