Are you into photography???
Seoul Photo Club is a club for photographers in Korea to share and discuss photography. We have 80 members and are always looking for more people who are into photography to join us.
NOTE: The club's name is Seoul Photo Club, but anyone based in Korea is welcome to join! 
To the point, I've struck a nice deal to get our photos published. It's a "Photo Challenge" where a weekly winner will get printed in a Korean newspaper.

you must own the rights to the photo that you submit. you keep 100% of the rights.
the publishing newspaper only requests the rights to publish the image once. beyond that, the image remains yours.

| While I'm not the "good enough at taking photos to have any chance of winning a weekly contest" type, I would like to say that it's really nice to see someone doing something positive around here. Nice job on getting the club started and good luck with it in the future. |

Neither am I, but its still nice to be able to get out and take some pictures. Whether you win or not, doesn't really matter. People will hopefully offer positive criticism and suggestions to make my photos better!!
Still....Hopefully I will win one week!!! I'd love it!!! |

hey guys ... contributing to events is a great way to improve.
so don't think of it as win and lose ... think of it as a way to get better by comparing your work to the contributions of others.

we're considering that for the future, but until we get this project going, we're gonna keep it simple.
maybe in the new year, we'll think about a permanent space for ourselves somewhere independent of other communities. but even if we do that, we'll probably still keep the facebook group running just to help organise ourselves and send out info. |
