Well, I my school finishes Dec. 21st. Anyone up for a trip to Yongsan around Dec. 29th? We can meet at the subway station (starbucks coffee) then head out and browse/shop around. Ideas?

Me.

I'd love to but I'm outta here a few days before that and headed for the beach. A meeting would have to be the weekend before XMAS or wait till mid Jan when we are all broke...lol...

I'd be up for it the weekend before Christmas, or possibly even on Christmas day, but I'm out of here on that Thursday to visit my in-laws in Jeju for a week of much-needed vacation.

After building yesterday's system and mine, as well as soon to be building Superhero's (or at least helping), I think I am Yongsaned.

If I have the time, I would like to see you, but I am not so sure I will be into another tour of that place just yet.

Sorry CL.

Going to Yongsan only 2 weeks after building my new system. I'll be so broke I won't even be able to afford a coffee from the machine on the subway platform.

Like a couple of others here, I've just bought and fully assembled my new system. A trip to Yongsan would just be for the hell of it. Maybe, but probably not. I've expressed my "fondness" for Yongsan here before. Evil or Very Mad

Shocked

Man, that is the LAST time I post about going to Yongsan. Wanna know why? My wife's PC just took a phat deuce. The power supply went along with the processor and the heatsink. That crap was getting so hot that the thermal gel on the PC is as hard as a rock. Well, tonight I will be going to the local PC mart and buying a P4 3.4mhz (800) CPU and a new 400 watt power supply. Thank GOD it isn't my PC that is failing (then again, I maintain my PC on a biweekly basis and don't hers). Embarassed

In Yongsan!!?? Hahahaha........sorry, but those guys never mark down anything unless it's useless 2 year old crap. And even then many don't.

The retail style in Yongsan is to buy in hundreds of a few items. Sell them at average market price. If you have some left over then keep them on the shelves until some dufus will take it off your hands.

What I wish they would do is sell a wide selection of current models at an average market price.

It is not unusual to see older products more expensive than their newer replacements.

Yay.
