Every teacher gets a minimum of 3 months holiday a year...they're called weekends,,,that is unless you have to teach.
So when you think about it combine that with your actual holiday time and you are going to be working a lot less than you won't be.

Spare a thought for the men working in the coal mines 7 days a week, 12 hours a day Twisted Evil

While there have been slaves and servants throughout history who worked 7 days a week and there probably are still some today, modern jobs typically offer weekends off. I do know of a store worker that works 7 days a week since she is always in the store I grab a beer and small food items at regularly. Many Koreans do work 7 days a week as well as foreign 3D workers, but that comes with blue collar professions as I did too when I was younger. I used to work 7 days a week myself at 12 to 16 hours a day when I was a US Army cook serving in Bosnia some 11 years ago and it was very difficult. However I did get 30 days of paid vacation and then I got weekends off when when I returned to home base after being deployed 1 year in Bosnia.

After college in my adult life, I expect weekends or 2 days a week off if working weekends or I simply would not take the job offer.
