I'm looking for a dictaphone and I have no idea where to start.
It needs to be reasonably compact, able to pick voices up clearly from a couple of metres away, and it would be good if it was voice activated. Think: private detective.
Does anybody know
a) a good brand
b) vague cost, and
c) where can I get one?

Can you use an MP3 player or phone.
I know my phone has that function, but is not activated. |
