Planning way too far in advance here but can anyone recommend a search engine for flights departing from Seoul? The only ones I know about are kayak.com and onetravel.com - both giving me what seem like very high prices for flights from Seoul to SE Asia. Are there any tricks - like booking a flight to Beijing or Tokyo and then going from there? |

naver.com
Type in 할인항공권 (or copy and paste)
Use the fields on the right for international, left for domestic.
The only catch is you'll need a Korean to make a reservation/pay for the ticket. |

Also try tourexpress.com or tourcabin.com.
The site ttangcheori.co.kr specializes in discount tickets, but on short notice. The site offers seats on flights that are part of airtel (airfare + hotel) packages, so you'll probably have to follow a package's schedule. |

wegolo.com is awesome but its more for europe, but it does cover international destinations too, plices listed are the same as what u would get from the airline and they search prety much all of them, always found me the cheapest price, but not sure how good it would be from seoul but worth a try.
My advice would be get a travel agent to do the leg work for you, just send out a bunch of emails or ring them up and ask for their best prices on ur desired dates, find out the airline - then go check their website or call them n see if it is cheaper doing it direct. |
