The reason I ask, is that there are 6 new scooters with logoed plastic boxes at our local McDrive.
Anybody else seen anything?

The thought of having McMornings delivered to my Mcdoor on a Saturday morning is very warming^^.

Yes. The one in Bangbae dong has been doing it for a few months now. You can also also order by cellphone for eat-in meals.

nobbyken, are you Korean?

only those who speak english as a second language ever refer to "McDonald" restaurant
(or if you're adopting the konglish as an immersed korean language learner, stop that)

add the apostrophe and 's' of the possessive please!

Nah, he's right. It just sounds ignorant to say it without the "s."

Well if they are aiming to compete with the west then it's one hell of a lot more.

Sorry I forgot the 's', I meant to type it.

I am actually a Macdonald by name.
In the UK and Ireland pronounciation of my name is Macdonald막던날드, the Irish surname is Mcdonald 믹던날드 (pronounced Micdonald).

How do North Americans pronounce it?

Reactionary Do they manage to keep the fries warm?

And he did say McDoor...That's one of those pop culture things that would be near impossible for most Koreans to understand. I think that completely balances out any lack of apostrophe s's.... Smile

I (Western NY) pronounce it "mic." Although I think it'd be much more fun if everyone pronounced it like they were Scottish. There aren't nearly enough Scottish accents in my daily life.

"Mac" is Scottish Gaelic for 'son of', Donald etc..
Irish Gaelic is not well known to me, but I assume "Mc or Mic" is their Gaelic for 'son of'.
Hence, Irish people are sometimes referred to as 'Micks'.

I'm originally from West Virginia and pronounce it Micdonald's. Macdonald is the guy with the farm.

In Australia, it's officially written into our constitution that every word should be shorten wherever possible hence it's usually called Maccas, not to be confused with Macca which is the usually nickname for any bloke with a Mac, Mc surname.
