Two things: Episodes no longer available via iTunes; and season three seems to have been delayed in coming to DVD. Razor, by contrast, was available within weeks.

Anybody know what's up?

IIRC, NBC pulled all its shows from iTunes. No idea about the DVD though.

While I may agree Kendra is hot, I cannot agree that she is from New Zealand, although I haven't seen Razor yet so maybe she was acting with a kiwi accent.

Which would be kinda funny, because Lucy Lawless, who is a New Zealander, was acting (as Number 3) with an Aussie accent.
She lived in Oz for a fair while though, so, I'll let her off.

Not only does Season 4 return in the first week of April but it seems a prequel will air in a couple years:

As for BSG

On March 28, Sci Fi Channel will run a pair of back-to-back half-hour specials at 10 p.m

This heap of frakkin' promotion is all a mass-marketing run by Sci Fi for the fourth (and final) season of Battlestar Galactica, which kicks off on April 4.

As for season four, it still looks like there's no avoiding splitting the 20-episode run into two halves. Moore doesn't expect the back half of the season to be completed until the fall and has no idea when it will air. However, that timeline fits in place with previous rumors saying that the final 10 episodes of the season will air in 2009.

Interesting...

Quote:
Edward James Olmos, who plays Adm. William Adama on SCI FI Channel's series Battlestar Galactica, told SCI FI Wire that it's not inconceivable that all of the characters will die by the end of the upcoming fourth and final season--and that would be OK with him.

Not that that is in any way a spoiler for the upcoming season. But Olmos said it would be fitting for a show that he called a "commentary on our times" and the "most worthwhile piece of television" he has ever done.

"Basically, if it?s true to form, no one makes it," Olmos said in an interview at SCI FI's upfront presentation to advertisers in New York earlier this month.

Producers have been tight-lipped about their plans for the show's climax and denouement, though it's believed that the fourth season will take up the sudden reappearance of Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and her revelation that she's been to Earth. Meanwhile, four people must deal with the sudden knowledge that they are Cylons.

If everyone were to die? "I think that people would be shocked, and they'd be hurt, and they would be totally, totally frustrated," Olmos said. "But I've got to tell you, that's a truth that people have to realize. We may do it to ourselves [in real life]. It all depends on us now and what choices we make." Battlestar Galactica will kick off its fourth season on April 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with the episode "He That Believeth in Me." --Ian Spelling

some season 3 stuff that bugged me:

when the cylons came back, why did no one make an issue of the fact that they reneged on their promise to leave the humans alone? "oh yea, we're back and we're kicking your ass" "oh yea, we figured you would"

who resurrected the resurrection ships? they went thru all that trouble and had a great story that involved killing the resurrection ships. not a mention of it, once...grrr

Whenever RDM et al hint at deaths on the show I remain skeptical.

RDM did indicate the strike made it possible he might not even be able to finish the series.

I dunno.

Tantalizing first episode. Still not addressing the unanswered questions the previous three seasons have raised -- indeed raising new ones (Stabuck's brand new viper, for example).

And the four new cylons have decided to remain loyal to the humans. Interesting direction.
