In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Heroes creator Tim Kring commented on criticism of season two, and the series' 15% decline in the ratings.[50] Kring said that he felt he had made mistakes with the direction of season two. He had thought that the audience was looking for a "build-up of characters and the discovery of their powers", similar to that of season one, when viewers were instead looking for "adrenaline."

Kring also outlined what he felt were problems with plot development, stating that the second season "took too long to get to the big-picture story",[50] explaining that Peter's vision of the viral armageddon should have occurred in the first episode instead of the seventh. He feels that it would have been better to introduce new characters within the context of the main storyline, as with Elle, rather than in unattached arcs such as that of Maya and Alejandro. Kring also admitted that he should have resolved the "Hiro in Japan" storyline much more quickly, and that the romantic stories aren't working well. With regards to Claire and West, and Hiro and Yaeko, he said "I've seen more convincing romances on TV. In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us."[50]

He definitely got all that right.

This last episode was pretty good, though.

Anyone know if Nathan and annoying chicky are really leaving or is Clare's blood gonna save them too?

I would be really sad if this is the end of Nathan.

I would think that Peter would freeze time and infuse Nathan with his own blood. At least, that's what i would do.

I think the real question is who shot Nathan? My money is on Noah or an as yet unseen character.

Yeah, cuz all Heroes needs is another character, right? (don't read that as a knock on you)

I was so hoping that the Latina lady was really dead. She's nice to look at, but far too annoying.

After seeing two people shot and back from the dead, sure seems to me flying man isn't very hard done by. Peter has already seen the blood trick. His blood has the same ability.

And if a head shot is so deadly, why did Noah take a bullet right through the eye and the blood fixed him up?

Either Peter can freeze time, or he can find Hiro and he can go back in time to stop the shooter.

It looked like Noah. I'm guessing that he had one more task to carry out in order to keep the Company from killing Claire.

Actually, wouldn't his blood have the ability to absorb/learn other people's powers, rather than actually being "healing blood"?

It's too bad that Sylar is still around. I'm guessing he's still around and gets his powers back so that he can somehow, unwittingly, help do in another bad guy like the head of the company. Or perhaps he'll hear about Adam and his immortality and go dig him up. That would really suck. These guys that die or are gone need to stay dead and gone or this will turn into a bad soap opera.

Yeah, we caught that back on page two of this thread:

And yet you keep coming back to this thread about Heroes. Stupidity has many levels.

That is what i am talking about!!!!!

It's either the brain or the blood! But not both ffs, it just isn't logical.

Unless you give the blood a "temporal" effect of healing, but that would still give it a chance to grow a "new" head ......

And peter exploded like a Nuke, how the hell do all the individual cells regenerate?

So many inconsistencies, no wonder the writers are underpaid.

Yeah. It's just rubbing me the wrong way this season. Everyone is out to get the company. Then they're all trying to protect the company. WTF.

I love Heroes, they needed way more Peter and Hiro this season. We could have done without the whole maya subplot. Nathan can't die, he's bada$$!!!!
