What is the minimum temperature in Suwon during winters.

Do I need to bring winter stuff like LongJohns etc.

Not severe but it will be a good idea to cover up. You won't need long johns but an extra sweater under a winter jacket is a good idea. Pretty well everything you need you can get here, but bringing your own stuff is a good idea. I've seen it get down to -15 but one or two days it might go below that.

I live in Suwon and do a lot of outdoor activities. Early in the morning and late in the evening during the winter you could definitely use the longjohns. My friend in town here says she is buying a pair when she takes here trip abroad as she can't find her size here. Since they don't take much room in the suitcase I would throw them in.

The coldest I've ever seen it in Suwon was -17 the winter of 2002. I have a feeling that it's going to be a mild winter! I haven't even cracked out the scarf yet.

This week and this past weekend were both shockingly warm, but all the predictions I've heard are that we're in for the coldest winter ever.

Ohhhh... I do hope that is the case, it will hopefully bring lots and lots of snow, so I can go riding on snow rather than ice!
