I'm thinking of getting Hana TV. I already have Hanaro high-speed internet, if that matters. Can anyone tell me what they think. Stations, price etc. Thanks

The interenet is ace but DON'T DO THE TV!

It's dismal. More like Airplane TV. Just repeated programmes on a database. I had it and got rid after 2 days...

It's like pay per view but you dont have to pay for most of it.

In terms of western shows, there aren't that many. 24, the L word, Weeds, Dexter, CSI and a coupla things I've never heard of. Theres several hundred English language movies you can watch too which are sorted by type. New releases you have to pay about 1,500 for. Anything more than a few months old is free. I think if you already have hanaro internet it is only like $6 more for the tv.. not too much.

If you can't read Korean dont bother, the whole interface is in Korean.

It's not good. Sure there's lots of (old) English movies to watch, but I'd bet that you've already seen 98% of them.

Even the 'new' movies are relatively old.

Yeah, the internet has always been good to me, but the TV is useless. No live anything, crappy selection of dramas and the movies are all typical mainstream stuff I've seen already. Plus the image quality is poor and a lot of the movies are in pan-and-scan

yeh. you people suck.

we have it, it's awesome. tons of movies. tons of tv shows. tons of sports.

granted i've seen lots of them... but it guarantees that i will always have something to watch, when i want to watch tv, which isn't that often... all for 9$/month, plus i keep all my regular stations.
