I have two questions suddenly, perhaps to save some issues later. Where is Yonsei Korean Language Institute located? I've never been there so don't know where to find it on the campus.
Second, do I need to supply bank account details (and foreign ID) to get a cellphone? It's just that my friend helped me register a phone but I have to go back to the store once I have an ID and bank account. I just find that a bit odd |

I had to do the same. They even asked for my gf's ID number just because she happened to be helping me. They want the bank account number so they can do direct withdrawals. At least that's what I was told. |

This site has a nifty little map showing you how to get there from Yonsei's main gate. It's kind of tricky to find the first time, so if you're going to take the entrance exam, make sure you allow yourself enough time.
Another way (possibly easier) to get there is to go around Yonsei as if you're going over to Ehwa's back gate. Stay on the lefthand side and follow the main road past Severance Hospital. After a ways you'll see on your left "Dalki Restaraunt" (Strawberry Restaraunt). Take a left at the alley immediately *after it and go up the hill a short way. The building is on your right.
*it's been a while since I've been in that area and there's a possibility that the left you need to take is not immediately after the restaraunt. Either way, it's close.
Good luck. |

If you have the phone, and it's working, do you have to go back? I assume they have your address, so they can send you bills...
However, to be honest, LG has my account and it's much easier to just have them withdraw how much I owe each month. They send me a bill in the mail as well, so that you can verify how much they take out - if you want, but I don't think there's anything to worry about if you share it with them. |

Huck is right. If your phone is already working and you've paid at least one bill, then don't worry yourself with going back to the store and registering a bunch of stuff in a language you aren't fully confident with. Just continue to pay your bill every month and you should be fine. |

Ah but I have to go back because my address will change. So, they'll most likely demand the bank and ID details at that point.
I see the KLI now, it's a long walk for sure from the main gate! |
