It is about a 30-40 minute car ride, and would probably cost you $40-50. The consulate isn't really well marked, so it is easily missed. It is on the North/East side of Avenue Road, just North of St. Clair AVE. The building is set back a bit from the road.

I suppose you could take a bus. That would take over and 1.5 hrs though (not 100% sure could be slightly less depending on the route they take) Hope that helps.

if you're taking public transit, you're in for a long haul... i would use the subway instead of the bus...

take the airport bus (i think it stops at all the terminals) to islington station (on the green line), go east to yonge/bloor (the yellow line), go north and get off at st. clair station... walk west to avenue road and turn right... the korean consulate is the first building on the right... it's set back a bit from the road, but it's right next to the park (i think it's the glenn gould park)...

good luck! every time i've gone there they've required a few days for processing, so you might as well hang out in toronto for a night or two!

Best is to take the airport bus as mentioned but NOT to Kipling. Rather go to Yorkdale station, just off the big expressway 401. Only about a 10 - 15 min bus ride. At Yorkdale take the subway down to St. Clair station. From St. Clair station you can either, walk east along St. Clair to the consolate located on the N.E. corner of St. Clair and Avenue rd. OR take the streetcar going along St. Clair (been awhile for me but subway or streetcar used to be $2.25 (about $5 bucks American Smile). Or you can cab it, about 5 bucks.

the cab ride from the airport I would guess to be around 30 bucks, lower than that mentioned in my opinion.....but who knows with cabbies.......they are the same everywhere except Seoul where I've never been ripped off . Go figure.

I also forgot to mention. Another idea is to get a bus to the downtown bus station from the airport. It usually goes down Ave. Rd. and you could just ask the bus driver if it is possible to drop you off at St. Clair. But check on this, not sure if that bus runs anymore. But this would be super convenient for you.
