I will most likely be marrying my Korean girlfriend before the end of my contract and I would like to take up a job near her. So finding a new job, what all with that involve with a F2. I assume, I won't have to deal with any of the stuff the E2s are? I have no issues with a criminal check but I definitely don't want to go through the process of going home and getting everything with an apostillate on it.

Unless something changes at immigration, you should not have to follow the same rules with your new F-2-1 status. This topic has been discussed at length in a couple of other posts, so I suggest you take a look for them. they should be in the first 4 - 5 pages of posts linked at the bottom of the page on Job related discussions.
