hey, i am planning on doing a 2 or 3 week traveling expedition in late march/early april somewhere in asia. i really want to go to vietnam, cambodia, and laos, but i am going to be traveling alone and as a woman, i am not sure its the safest place to go by myself.
so im looking for advice on where to go alone. i have already been to china, japan, and thailand and would like to go somewhere else and am looking for any advice you can give, or if anyone wants to come along...
thanks a lot

I went to Hanoi alone.
I was fine.
Have you already been to China, Japan, and Thailand ALONE? Or is this your first trip alone? |

I went to Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia alone and had no problems at all. I don't imagine you would as long as you're not stupid or careless. |

I've hit all the countries mentioned and did by myself as a single female traveller in general the places are safe.
Usual rules for back home apply there and don't go flashing your money around. |

No problems in SE Asia. There are lots of lone female travellers. Stay at guest houses as they are safer than motels/hotels but you probably already know that. Um.... I can't think of anything else. Pretty safe. Lots of fun. Have a good time. |
