So......................................it's not THAT cold here. So far, I'm finding winter in Seoul much more bearable than the summer. When I got back from Singapore, I was expecting my balls to freeze off, but happily, that hasn't been the case. I was thinking about investing in a nice winter parka when I was in NY, but now I'm glad that I didn't cuz I think my wool coat that comes down past my knees will do.

It's been really mild in my opinion. Now if I can just get Seoul Metro to stop cranking up the heat on busy subway cars I would be really happy.

The overnight low on Jeju last night was 14 C. Cool

But a cold front is coming for the weekend.

I thought you were a woman.

(yes, I know it's a metaphor.. but I do find it a bit distasteful for a woman to be using it).

I saw online that it's suppose to get up to only 27F Sunday and Monday in Seoul. Maybe it will snow up there.

Do you live on Jeju? Is it as nice as all the Koreans say it is? I was entertaining some Singaporean clients last night and they were asking me about Jeju and all I could say was, "Yeah, it's nice" having never been there myself. Then my coworker started in about how wonderful Jeju is...as if it's the most amazing place on earth.

Weather and the effects it provides are subjective. If you are Inuit or perhaps a Laplander this winter in Korea has been mild so far. Climatology tells us nights are cold and days are warmer here on the peninsula. 2 years ago it snowed for 3 weeks in a row(or was it 3 & 2?).
With 3 months of winter remaining I'd have the warm coat on stand-by.

It has been mild so far. One Christmas Day, back in like '96 or something, it was 21 degrees F.

Yes. Women should say, "freezing my t1ts off." All in the name of taste.

The forecasts say it will snow this weekend and then the temperature will drop. It really will get colder this, but then again last winter was mild with no snow as well.

Yeah, it looks like the weather will significantly drop in the next few days...maybe I spoke too soon.

I don't mind a little snow...just as long as it doesn't get in the way of my commute to and from work.

Warm or cold, sunny or overcast, clear skies or wet snow, enjoy the weather as everyday inches towards the "Vernal Equinox". Spring and Summer and Autumn and Winter, we all share together, unequivocally.
Unless, perhaps, your home is the Equator or the Pole(s).
