A student my daughter's age ( 12 ) said " teacher, you are nothing " compared to a certain Korean pop singer who had her humming her tunes throughout my classes recently.

I thought to myself that although not a Korean pop singer I am something in my daughter eyes, as well as my parents, siblings and a few friends, some Korean.

Anyway, I guess she has never heard of Bach since I think J.S. Bach is a little more "something" than this certain Korean pop singer , who by the way I know who she is talking about and her song has about 5 significant notes, and is on TV and a lot of ring tones.

But I think J. S. Bach will endure just a little longer. And , he probably had some loving family and friends too.

The Brandenburgs are great! Thanks for the link.

Maybe you, and the rest of us, are nothing but John McLaughlin is God. Check out Mahavishnu here.

BTW, shouldn't this be in the Off-Topic Forum?

That's what I thought at first... but it is job-related.

However, I am nothing and everything I know is wrong. Wink

She knows how to make very categorical statements. I would've been shocked.
