Not sure if I hit the wrong button or if the thread got magically deleted, but here we go again....
....and this thread has nothing to do with drugs, despite the word "bong," just in case it got pulled for content reasons.
I am going to build a beer bong and need to find a large funnel and hosing/tubing that fits nicely onto the funnel.
I'm going to check the mom and pop hardware shops.
Does anyone know where I can find the funnel and tubing in Seoul?
Cheers. Come try your hand at 2 pints in under 5 seconds! |

I don't know what you are talking about.
A bung is the plug used to stopper a beer keg.
A bong is used to smoke marijuana.
Are you trying to blacken the name of all of us? |

You never went to a college party?
Beer bong: A large funnel connected to a wide hose used to quickly consume beer.
That's my definition. Look it up for more detail and pictures.
It definitely has nothing to do with drugs, other than beer. I've never heard of a marijuana bong having beer in it.
A beer bong allows beer to "shoot" down your throat if you have the physical ability to let it go down by keeping your esophagus open. Most people can. When they can't, it's funny to watch them spill beer all over the place and choke a little. |

Not much of an improvement, considering Korea now insists on doing drug and alcohol screening tests on E-2 applicants.
This sort of thread is like throwing gasoline on a fire.
It is a very bad idea.
We are not all alcohol abusers.
BTW, when I was in college, a bong was a bong. |

The beer bong I built in college looked similar to the one below. It had one inch tubing, and a valve three inches from the end.

This is just too paranoid.
First, drug screenings have to do with illegal drugs. Not the topic at hand and shouldn't be confused with alcohol, a legal substance and widely, widely used in Korea. I've had drinks after school, but in the school, with the principals and teachers at my school.
[Edit]: from another thread, crazyarcade said in regards to beer bongs in Korea:
"A colleague of mine actually did it.
Koreans actually did dig it. Everyone wanted to do it....families for lining up to take pictures."
So there you go. Korean aren't going to freak out because foreigners are consuming beer by using instruments other than cans, bottles and 8 oz. glasses.
[End Edit]
Second, alcohol screening? Ok, if someone can't lay off the soju and crappy Korean beer for one day to take an alcohol piss test, they don't deserve the E-2 visa.
A bigger problem exists: Where can I find a funnel and proper hosing for a beer bong in order to LEGALLY consume LEGAL beer here in Seoul? |

Alcohol screening? What the hell are you talking about? We're not all alcohol abusers? Have you BEEN to Korea? Do you see that alcohol consumption is a fucking work-related expense here? Hell, being an alcoholic in Korea is more likely to make you friends than to get you in trouble.
How long ago were you in college that "beer bong" had yet to enter the collegiate lexicon? |

funnels? you musta went to one of those rich schools. simply cut the bottom off of a large bottle. affix hose. where to get hose? find your local industrial "tool zone" (as it is called here in masan) and you'll find 1 yard of hose no problem.
yeah, you are right...bars in korea could sell shots from such an intake device and it would be popular. |
