|
|
Well the Holidays are behind us and I am thinking of the next ladies lunch. It's been awhile, so I am eager to get this going again. I am thinking January 20th, Sunday at 1pm. Last time Italian seemed a popular choice, so I am leaning toward Sorrentinos in Itaewon, but am open to suggestions. What do you think ladies?
Next idea. I think it was February last year, that we did a really nice ladies lunch at the Coex mall with a buffet for 30,000won. What is the interest in doing that again near the end of February?
I was also tossing around the idea of a ladies night out, dinner and drinking, hitting a few bars or clubs, like on a Saturday night. Any interest in that?
The question has also been raised of who will be organizing this when I leave. And that is up to the ladies here. I leave end of February. So, if anyone is interested, think about it. |

It was at the end of Feb and that was actually at the Coex-Intercontinental hotel and I can assure you that it cost more than 30K. 30K was what CLG charged us, not what the hotel itself charged.
If you want a nice hotel lunch, I might be able to swing something at the Grand Hilton (not the Millennium Hilton), north of Seoul, there's a free shuttle from Itaewon, takes about 40 mins. |

Americans are never very popular - what makes "now" so special? Popular or not, I don't see why it would affect our being shunned from a ladies lunch. Love your avatar, by the way.
I've no problem with Sorrentino's, never had a bad meal there, but it's a bit pricey for the quality. I'm guessing we can get some kind of deal as a group though. I've been to much better Italian restaurants in and out of Itaewon, but most are even more expensive. I'd say it's the best bet as something well-known and easy to find, not to mention central to the majority of people. |

| I'm leaving at the end of February too, so it might be a good idea to have a big send off since a lot of people are also leaving then. I like the idea of a girls night out, but it would probably be a good idea not to do it the night before lunch. I know at least three girls who missed the last lunch because they were still recovering from (or enjoying) the night before! |
