Well the Holidays are behind us and I am thinking of the next ladies lunch. It's been awhile, so I am eager to get this going again. I am thinking January 20th, Sunday at 1pm. Last time Italian seemed a popular choice, so I am leaning toward Sorrentinos in Itaewon, but am open to suggestions. What do you think ladies?

Next idea. I think it was February last year, that we did a really nice ladies lunch at the Coex mall with a buffet for 30,000won. What is the interest in doing that again near the end of February?

I was also tossing around the idea of a ladies night out, dinner and drinking, hitting a few bars or clubs, like on a Saturday night. Any interest in that?

The question has also been raised of who will be organizing this when I leave. And that is up to the ladies here. I leave end of February. So, if anyone is interested, think about it.

It was at the end of Feb and that was actually at the Coex-Intercontinental hotel and I can assure you that it cost more than 30K. 30K was what CLG charged us, not what the hotel itself charged.

If you want a nice hotel lunch, I might be able to swing something at the Grand Hilton (not the Millennium Hilton), north of Seoul, there's a free shuttle from Itaewon, takes about 40 mins.

If so, then I'd be interested in coming along.

Any and all expat ladies are welcome! It's always great to meet new people. A big thanks to Julie for organizing all these fun afternoons! I only regret I've only made it to so few... Please do come!

Americans are never very popular - what makes "now" so special? Popular or not, I don't see why it would affect our being shunned from a ladies lunch. Love your avatar, by the way.

I've no problem with Sorrentino's, never had a bad meal there, but it's a bit pricey for the quality. I'm guessing we can get some kind of deal as a group though. I've been to much better Italian restaurants in and out of Itaewon, but most are even more expensive. I'd say it's the best bet as something well-known and easy to find, not to mention central to the majority of people.

I'm leaving at the end of February too, so it might be a good idea to have a big send off since a lot of people are also leaving then. I like the idea of a girls night out, but it would probably be a good idea not to do it the night before lunch. I know at least three girls who missed the last lunch because they were still recovering from (or enjoying) the night before!
