My intent is to go from dud to stud in 12 weeks by eating healthy food and exercising. Tonight my wife will take my before picture and 12 weeks later my after picture. I'll post both pics on April 1, 2008.

Anybody else want to make a transformation?

Although I've never been "that" fat (topped out at 200 lbs.)

I've made a positive change in my lifestyle in the past several months and my New Years resolution is to simply continue what I've already been doing.

Eating healthy and exercising everyday. If I give into cravings I don't feel guilty about it and just continue to keep on keeping on.

Isn't it true that most New Years resolutions are failed half-hearted attempts?

My girlfriend is supposed to give up smoking, we'll see how that goes.

Good luck. I could lose a few pounds myself... got a few that linger on after the birth of Letty. Going to HK in Feb, so will probably start something after that.

lol! I can relate!
I have some weight to lose that just will not go away after the birth of Lilo.
The new year seems like the perfect time to start a new diet.
We shall see what happens!

I did that program... download the Body for Life movie... it is pretty inspiring when you start to slip..

however the results they got were not from following the diet as written..

they did a LOT of extra work, including running every day, and working out many more hours in the gym also lots of suppliments..

however, i did get pretty good results very quickly, even the skeptical gym instructors were pretty surprised...

i lost about 5cm of waistline in about 4-5 weeks...

Most of the time when I look in the mirror I think I look fine, but if I look right when I get off the treadmill I see a chunky smelly blob. Crying or Very sad

Exercise is hard. I need to learn to not look.

I was just by Hooters today...my thoughts were much like the old Wendy's commercials of "Where's the beef?" - substitute hooters with beef and that's what I was thinking...

Perhaps you were asking princess so there she could bring the hooters?

I have lost 60 kilos since I came to korea. I am usually 76 kilos but I can thin down to 69 in a week before a fight. Its realy not that hard if you set your mind to it.

Nah, it only works if you shame yourself into it--i.e., posting the before pic on the first day. He didn't thus he's still a fatso. Plus, if he posts now, he could photoshop himself.

yeah, in my one year since graduating I have lost about 50kilos. unfortunately, a lot of the weight came off in a quick time so I ended up losing a bit of muscle. Now I am going to attempt to gain back some of the 10kgs of muscle I lost while losing another 10kgs of fat. I will be working hard but I don't want to get it done too quickly, it really does a number on your body, in the bad way.

I hope if you plan on doing one of these plans, you really work hard. In 12weeks you can do a lot. Don't stress about the weight, sizes and body fat percentages are much more important. Oh yeah, BMI is a lousy piece of crap. If you have any doubt, enjoy this...
