Bad News. Sbarros Pizza is now closed to be replaced by 'the Body Shoppe'. This sucks. Did I mention they served beer with the slice? Oh well, 18 more days 'til Bangkok.

Are you referring to the Sbarros in Gwangwhamun. There is also a small one in the bookstore in Jongro area. Is that one closing too?

I don't know of that one.. I've never been in that bookstore I guess.. unless you are referring to Kyobo Bookstore but never saw one in there either. Are you talking of the bookstore over near Jonggak Subway Station? If so, I'm going to have to check it out.

Did you specifically know of two separate and distinct ones? I can't figure out why the Gwangwhamum one closed. Everytime I went there it was quite busy.

Thats the one thats closed down. Its Gwangwhamun subway stop right across the street from Kyobo Bookstore. Around the corner from the now non-existant Sbarros was a Hardees. So that must be one and the same.

Yeah it's in Jong gak station (line #1 next to Chong no 3 ga) station exit 5 or 6. The bookstore is "Young poong"... it's a pretty good store for English-language reading and teaching materials. Didn't try any of the fast food there.

Well don't go there today. I saw a warning on AFN advising American citizens to avoid the area around the US embassy today. Some demonstration was going on I think.

Maybe I'll try tomorrow instead then.
