I grew up in the countryside, so most of the stuff about a house does not indicate any degree of affluence: my father bought the old farm-house for $1000. Those were the days. |

I'm also a country boy so housing probably does not apply. Heating one is pretty funny, as I know exactly how much it costs. We used peat(turf) for heating, which had to be processed and brought home by us. Actually probably very cheap providing you had 4 sons to give free labor! |
