Doggyji, thanks very much for the various Korean TV links you gave me. They are great and in the case of Daum TV you don't even need to be a member. I should have been more proactive about seeking out this kind of stuff long ago, rather than just bitching about Korean TV all the time Embarassed .

The first two clips I looked at were a news clip (complete with a full transcript!) about organic farming in Kyoungsangdo and some footage of mountain biking in Seoul - one of the places I used to ride in fact (Yeosu trails suck).

My listening ability is not nearly as good as it should be after five years in Korea, and it's really been sapping my enthusiasm for study. These links will be a great help, not just in terms of simple listening practice but also in terms of finding cool interesting stuff that makes me really want to listen. Cheers again Doggyji.

Doggyji is a gyopo (I think) who is always pretty down to earth and cool but is not afraid to point out when us expats are talking out of our arses (he's caught me out a few times). Hence I thought I should contact him via this thread rather than just respond to him via JAD's 'talk with beauties' buillshit thread. Yes, a PM would have been more practical, but I just want the regular posters on Dave'sESLcafe to know that neurotic and annoying gyopos like JAD are nothing more than a very vocal minority who probably don't represent the average Korean-Canadian, Korean-American or Korean-Kiwi.
