I'm leaving the country after my contract, but only a for a short time. The thing is, my current employer wants to arrange for a 1 way only flight. Which is fine. But, I will be returning and instead of negotiating a cheaper deal by going in with on a roundtrip, they will pay a lot more for the one way. I don't get it.
Has anyone encountered this nonsense? How did you deal with it? |

Perhaps they need a receipt for accounting purposes. I know that is the regulation at the Hagwon I am at. Everything is done by the books, every penny accounted for. |

Some of the owners would rather see the job get done with no other additions than to see it done more efficiently, cheaper and safer...
As for books etc, if they were to look at it from strictly a financial point of view, they would gladly pay the price for the cheaper ticket regardless of it being round trip or one way. My hagwon says they'll pay the round trip if it's cheaper, if not, I can pay the additional amount...
but they said they'd pay for other things as well.... yeah... |
