Has anyone done the medical exam connected with the new E2 visa rules? Could you give me the details?

P.S. speculations are not helpful....

I went last week to the Seoul Medical Center by Coex mall. As I work for a public school this was one (out of two) hospitals that I could go to. They weighed and measured me, checked hearing and sight, chest x-rays, uring and blood sample. I went on Thursday afternoon and had the results on Monday afternoon. The cost was 63,000 won. It's exit 8 from Samsung station and take the first left...

Good luck

Seoul Immigration Office, Yangcheon-gu (02-2650-6212) told me to call one of these two:

a) 02-2204-0161 They didn't speak English. I was passed from one woman to the other as giggles were heard in the back. This gave me the impression they don't have much interaction with foreigners. I don't know where this is, the immigration guy didn't tell me, he just gave the digits.

b) Hanaro Medical Foundation, Jongak (02-732-3030, Korean, I chose option 2, then 5). Spoke great English and said for the examination I should bring my passport and a photo. Cost 112,000Won.

Blade, Cymro and Gosia; did your medical check-up include the HIV, TB and THC? I've been two 3 hostpitals this week and none of them will do either the TB or THC.

It's located in the basement but your best to go the international medicine section which is located not far from the main entrance. Also you need to get there between 8 and 12am to get your medical.
