				| What exercise options do you have? In the states of course if you join a Gold's Gym you can go to any Gold's Gym that exists. Does such gyms this exist in Seoul? I am sue they do but I am making sure. | |

Yup, but the chances are, it'll be smaller than you expect.

				| There are quite a few snazzy posh gyms here, but its quite exclusive and you pay loads. Most of them are in hotels like Renaissance, Lotte et and they come with spas, saunas jacuzzis, rest areas etc. Really nice actually, I hadnt seen that sort of thing in NY. | |

				| California Fitness in Apgujeong is quite big....Expensive, but it's worth it to me to feel comfortable while I work out, and not feel squished by everything/everyone. | |

				| There's gonna be a gym or health club in every vicinity. Obviously, the more posh area you live in, the more posh the gyms will be, and there will be more options. | |

				| Are there gyms with squat racks (not Smith machines), dumbbells that go to 120lbs, etc like any normal gym in the West? Or is there just a lot of flashy equipment that does no good for someone actually interested in building strength/muscle/fitness/balance/bone mass. | |

Yes, there are some. You may have to travel a bit, though. I travel 30 minutes on the subway 3-4 times a week to go to my gym. Once you're settled in Seoul, just let us know where you are and perhaps people can advise better.

				| Any gym is better than no gym. Unless you are a pretty serious body builder, you can make do with the facilities in pretty much any neighborhood gym hole. | |

				| There are lots of gyms in Seoul and the satelite cities. You shouldn't have a problem finding what you want. Just walk around your neighbourhood and you should find one. Most of the gyms are located above the ground flooor, so keep your head up.
A worse problem in the gyms is the horrible music they play. Plan on bringing an mp with you or acquire a taste for K pop.

				| Anyone know of good gyms in the Shinchon/Ewha area? I have heard of Eagle Fitness, but was curious if there were any others that have similar offerings. | |
