The Huckster is going to take Carolina. He was on Morning Joe, one of my guilty pleasures, talking about how in college he and his buddies would fry up squirrel in a popcorn poppers, as they were the only cooking appliance allowed in the dorms. This guy is so aptly named I'm not sure he's real.

I agree; it's going to be Huckabee.

Here are the latest Real Clear Politics polls:

McCain 25.8
Huckabee 23.3
Romney 15.3
Thompson 10.5
Guiliani 6.0
Paul 5.0 Very Happy

After today's loss in Michigan, McCain is going to lose a few % points. I doubt Romney will pick up enough to take second, but it will be McCain and Romney fighting for second, not first.

As an afterthought:
Dems:

Obama 42.7
Clinton 32.0
Edwards 16.0

A typical Ron Paul supporter in S.C.

If you listen closely, you will note that her son is running for Congress as a Ron Paul down ticket candidate. There are hundreds of "Ron Paul" candidates for congress, senate and state offices lining up to run with Dr. Paul.

I'm going to go with the Huckster in SC. I think Romney will eek out a win in Nevada and McCain will win Florida

Thus we will have:

Iowa: Huckabee
NH: McCain
Wyoming: Romney
Michigan: Romney
Nevada: Romney
SC: Huckabee
Florida: McCain

I will further predict that Feb 6th will be doomsday for the following candidates:

Paul
Kucinich (aka UFO Boy)
Gravel
Guiliani
Thompson

There was a headlines in the news about McCain and being against some confederate flag that was once being flown at SC's state capital.

Sounds like more McCain woes from a southern state that isn't all that McCain welcoming.
