|
|
Im sure this has been discussed on here, but since the search function on Dave's does not work at all I cant find any discussion pertaining to the question I have. I am wondering what exactly these NDS super cards are and where you can buy them. I know they are like a chip that you can download games to, but where do you download the games from? Also, is there a certain card that is better than the other. For example, Ive seen people mention like an R4 card as well as another card that I dont remember the name of and was wondering what is the best one to buy. Are there different sizes of cards? This card is not for me ( I dont even own a NDS), its for my nephew back at home and so would he still be able to use it back in the states (meaning, would be be able to access and download the games online??). Thanks for all the help! Cheers |

Yongsan...Space Nine building. 5th or 6th floor. They sell for about 80000-100,000 won with a 2gig chip.
Great stuff. I bought one the other week. |

Download the games using Bittorrent - they're incredibly easy to find. Your best bet would be an R4 card, buy it at Yongsan (I looked everywhere, a gift for my father), in the big department-store-style building you get to when you leave the subway station. Go to the games floor, and ask around. They'll charge you a range of prices, but the best I got was 60,000 for a 1 GB card with a pile of games already included.
The R4 card fits in your DS game slot and has a mini-SD card which holds the games. So they're easy to download and move about. |

I tried to buy a DS with R4 yesterday and both places my girlfriend and I went to told us that Nintendo Korea is stopping sales of the R4. Is this for real? Anyone know a for-sure place I could buy an R4 in Daegu or through a Korean website? |

Nintendo have nothing to do with the R4. As it's an unauthorised device you won't find it in big retail places - but game stores in places like Yongsan. Ask for "Supercard" (though try "R4" first imo) as it will be an "under the counter" product. |

They're sold out of R4s and will be for a while, but there are many other cards to choose from. Personally, I think the Supercard One can stand up to the R4 or M3 easily: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5097
Free worldwide shipping, good prices on memory also. |

Get an M3 Real it supports over 2GB SDHC cards the others don't (so far)
Picked one up here in the UK for 29 quid bit pricey but it works nicely. |

Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it. I will check out Jeonjagwan first and use the online options as a backup (Leaving Korea at the end of the month, so a little afraid of delayed shipping time). |
