Wow, that's a groovy little Rorschach blot. Looks more like an angry bull skull than anything, though, doesn't it? |

I think it looks like lines on a rock. Why do people have to make ridiculous connections to things that they see? Look at it for what it is. A ROCK. |

lighten up, dude. consider the OP. i don't think mr. batstove is reading any meaning into this rock. but as far as rocks go, it's a pretty interesting one.
on the supernatural side of this one, i think the devil wins this round. if jesus sent this rock down, it's just yet another boring image of the same old thing. 'i died for your sins. look at me hang on this cross. cry me a river...'
if the devil was the one who did it, at least he's making an effort to appeal to today's culture, and he's not even milking the eternal damnation card for sympathy. |

A friend of mine wrote recently that believing in Satan means believing that God doesn't exist. I pointed out that Satan was once an angel of God so if you believe in Satan you automatically believe in God. |

I don't see a raised middle finger, so where do you get the "flipping the bird" bit.
Maybe it's Jesus raising the roof. Hip Hop culture is so pervasive. |

As I see it, you have Jesus with upwards outstretched arms but what I think is more prominent is a grinning Satan with horns flipping two birds.
Jesus' arms become Satan's horns, and the two aqua colours marks are the two hand with middle finger raised.
I found this rock cool when I looked at it because I saw the devil first before Jesus and the article failed to mention anything about it. I think it's absolutely amazing that a natural occurance could reveal images of both deities at the same time. You hear about Jesus and Mary apperaing in toast and tortillas and what not but how many times to you see Jesus and Satan at the same time.
I don't believe in either for the record, it's just a fascinating rock formation, but probably worth a lot to someone. |
