http://www.korea-dpr.com/

Just for kicks I wanted to see what nonsense Kim Jong-il was putting on his website (pretty amusing stuff) only to find that the ever wise National Police Force of the Democratic People's Republic of South Korea and Leader of Free Speech in Asia has blocked it.

So much for reading Kim's bio....the real one, not the false one that is being spread like venom by the pigs in the south and their yanky dogs.....

Interesting. And a little bit frightening too. On a similar note, I have also noticed that the The Metropolitician's blog is not accessible from here, (but it is by proxy). Is Internet censorship getting stricter nowadays?

It's always been strict. Why would the South Korean government want any of their citizens to know anything about North Korea at all?

I'm just wondering why they bother blocking it? Are people from the south really reading it, getting duped and heading up to visit Little Kim only to be locked up and sent to work on a rat farm somewhere?

seems kinda silly, even for SK.

Well they've been doing it for decades already. Part of it is because a lot of South Koreans have family up there, and neither government wants them to be able to communicate with each other.
