This is tangentially related to my Foreign Market thread. I need to get rolled oats for an English Camp activity, and I need them by the end of tomorrow. Apparently this is a Sysiphian task, as the Yangje Costco (which I visited yesterday afer a long trek) didn't even have them. I'm in Anseong. If anyone knows where I could go to buy oats without going all the way up to central Seoul AGAIN, please let me know. Money is no object, as my school will reimburse me as long as I can get a receipt. |

If "rolled oats" is a euphemism for some kind of sexual activity, you should be able to get plenty of that in Pyeongtak, I'd wager. |

Jesus, the server's going haywire. I accidentally posted this thread twice too, just deleted one of 'em. Now that we've gotten the obligatory Korean sex joke out of the way, is there anyone out there with HELPFUL information? |

You might try the black market area in Songtan up the road from Pyeongtaek. My friend and I just spoke on the phone and it may be available at one of the markets around the military base there. Expect to pay quite a bit more for it. |

How do I find it? Does the store have a specific name, or is it just "the black market"? I.E. if I ask one of the many random English speakers in Songtan how to get to it, will they know what I'm talking about? |

The market area is just a few blocks off of the main street that goes by the military base. You will find plenty of English speaking foreigners in the area that should be able to give you directions. It goes in several directions off of the central mall and market area by the military base. |
