I really want to see this.

Does anyone know where I can download it? Everything seems to be a fake right now.

And I guess we'll make this a thread about the movie. Whatever.

Yeah, don't download unless you're sure. A good site is mininova.org. If they have something you can pretty much be sure that's it's the real deal. Once in a while they'll get a dud. You donwload it only to find out and then check a short time later and they've gotten rid of it.

Mininova's pretty safe. The only thing is that they don't have user comments. User comments rule. ishohunt doesn't have user comments and a lot of movies there are fakes and don't get deleted. Makes it difficult to tell, but sometimes you just know for some reason. Maybe the uploader's name or whatever.

Anyway, that movie's supposed to be pretty good.

I liked it. It's a feel good movie with a more realistic world view. None of this bubble gum cheerleader-football captain bs.

I haven't seen Hard Candy, but my fiance says she acts with almost identical personalities in both movies.

I enjoyed Juno, but I don't think it's the Earth shattering movie that reviews seem to be making it out to be. So many of them claim that this is the first movie that has the language of today's teenagers. I teach high school and I have never heard a student say, "Swear to blog!?!?"

Yes, it was different and sweet and funny, but if you go in expecting to see the movie of the year I doubt you will be satisfied.

Went to see it in the theater tonight, and it didnt' live up to the hype. The writing was a little too clever, and I think the whole "geeks r kewl" thing has been over done since Weezer hit it big in the early 90's.

I might've loved it if I stumbled across it at the videostore, but in a packed theatre, complete with moronic guys shouting "good one!" at every clever line, it reminded me of the one dorky kid who just tried too hard to be cool

Sounding more and more crappy.

You mustn't be in Korea with people shouting "gone one" at the theater.

Hard candy was a shrill feminist id-laxative. Ellen Page is a little too precious, preggo or not.

I saw the movie on New years day....
It was good, but it was kinda' deep. Alot of people saw the movie expecting it to be as funny as "Superbad"- and it could've been.

Saw the movie and thought it was pretty good save the fact that 20-year olds were playing 16-year olds who speak a little more intelligently and sarcastically then they should. Although maybe that added something positive to the movie. Guess it did.

It was entertaining enough. Definitely worth watching.

The dialogue did seem a little 'Superbad'-esque, but that's the world of hipster teens post-Kevin Smith. I really liked the movie, though I wish Michael Cera had been a little more involved in the whole 'what happens to the baby' business.

Did you know Ellen Page was on Trailer Park Boys as a kid? She's Leahy's daughter that tries to be like Ricky, I think it's season three or four. I was surprised when I saw her there. Is she Canadian?

Every movie and tv show do this. In fact, if it's only a 4 year difference, that's way better than most.

Thumbs down.

Are they not promoting teen sex in this movie? Get pregnant and everything is gonna be alright. Please. Yes, this is the real world but teen pregnancy rates are gonna go sky high after this movie. Utter B.S.

On the other message in the thread, this movie tells shows us how easy it is to get divorced in the US. Damn lawyers.

OST was cute, however.
