| a vote for mc cain is a vote for lieberman. lieberman will almost automatically be mac's VP. |

| Yeah, i read that somewhere else tonight. Yuck. That would be a really dumb move by McCain if he chose Lieberman as VP. That's more than just shooting yourself in your foot; that's straight-up political suicide. |

That word used to have a very powerful meaning. It is the overuse of it in situations like this that diluted it. |
Methinks it is not used enough, especially in light of the statements of those that express interest in attacking Iran.
It can't be because of nuclear proliferation- the NIE took care of that.
It can't be because of Iraq IEDs- investigations have already disproved that.
McCain is clearly pushing this war agenda forward by playing off of and fanning the flames of "Islamophobia" in order to draw attention away from his shoddy record, age, and weak economic knowledge.
We've seen it before with Bush, and we're seeing it again with McCain. After all, they are butt buddies as this picture shows.

If he were to be nominated by Republicans, his VP nomination is going to basically have to 'run for President' as well in the Fall . |

Excellent news from the East Coast: McCain took Florida; and Giuliani's campaign may be collapsing.

A top campaign official from McCain's camp has been in "ongoing discussions" with Giuliani's campaign about endorsing McCain's candidacy, a GOP official familiar with talks told CNN Tuesday.
A source close to Giuliani confirmed that discussions were taking place and said there is talk among the staff that an endorsement could come Wednesday in California... |

Well then, Giuliani is throwing in the towel.
Ususally, one of my complaints is that our nominating process is so long and so drawn out, but there is one good result of it's length: people have time to assess and reject candidates. A few months ago, Giuliani was far ahead of everyone, and now he's at the bottom of the pile. |
