What is the schedule for public elementary schools this year?
I know the semester begins on March 3rd. When does the second semester start?
When are the kids vacation periods?
Does anyone know? |

They vary slightly from school to school and they won't be confirmed until the staff meetings are finished in about 2-3 weeks.
Most schools will have a summer break from ~July 21-Aug. 29 and the winter break will happen for most schools on ~Dec.26-March 2, 2009 with the student returning for the 2 week period of 2-13 of Feb, 2009.

And even then things can change at the drop of a hat. My school decided to change our summer break and not tell me till a day before the new vacation date. I thought we had another week. |
