Buddy, if your purpose in posting that was to prove my point, then you've done an outstanding job. Thank you. |

Was that sarcasm? Sorry but my South African English leaves me at such a disadvantage when it comes to these sophisticated things. |

Raoul Duke,
It has been admitted by many that they voluntarily accepted the offer to moderate this site. Furthermore, I seriously doubt that any adult would argue that another human-being made them do or say anything (we always have a choice in the things we say and do).
That being said, if a person volunteers for something and is unable to fulfill those duties without becoming irrational, emotional, etc., that person might want to reevaluate their situation. Blaming others for "losing it" is an abdication of one's personal responsibilities!
Not everyone is going to have the necessary disposition to fulfill their duties.
Yes, we are indeed human, but the last time I checked, we were trying to "form" and "participate" in a "civil" manner, which requires a rejection of many of the instinctive reactions of our own humanity. |

Austin... for the weeks that this has been going on, I keep returning to the same two questions, again and again:
What is your point? And what do you want? |
