I've been hoping for this for the last three years so I don't have to take the 1-1.5 hour bus ride to Suwon every couple of weeks.
According to the Galbijim site: "By 2008, the Bundang line will be extended north from Seolleung to Wangsimni and south to Yongin and Suwon, with eventual plans for it to run all the way to Incheon, completing a southern outer semicircle."
Is there a page in English, or can anyone find any info in Korean on when the extension will be completed? |

I've heard from the Koreans I asked that it can be anywhere from 2009 to 2010. Most likely, they'll be opening one station at a time until the thing is completed. |

I'm looking forward to it. It's going to cut at least 20 minutes from my daily commute. |
