Thought some of you with old Powershot and S-series Canons would enjoy this:

It works! I've used it on my A620. An old but relaible camera.
So far I've managed to shoot RAW images, control the aperture to F16, extend the shutter to 65 seconds, and even used my zoom control to manually focus the camera.
While it's all in-camera software (which by the way doesn't change your camera's firmware), at least you can get some pretty neat and silky smooth shots from a camera that was never intended to perform such feats.
The next thing on my list is to get a shot of a water droplet. Some people out there have reached shutter speeds of 1/64,000 of a second using CHDK. Should be a fun little experiment. |

Interesting. Too bad my S70 isn't on the list, not even the developers'.
I can shoot in RAW, but would like many of the other features. Should have kept my Mark II.
