I don't get it.. How many train trips do you take? Do you just keep doing back-to-back train trips with kids for the whole 3 months? That's pretty intense. Or is it just one train trip there and one back, with a 3 month camp in between? The language is really hard to follow, or am I just slow? |

Sounds like cool fun an good a change just for a break. If the kiddies give you problems just threaten to throw them off the train. |

I think it's harder than it sounds. They alwas say the job is a breeze, but imagine being with a hundred kids day and night for months. And I'm pretty sure you share a room with the kids, a big room and everyone sleeps on the floor. Not fun. |

Yes, it does sound fun. But the realistics of it.. could be chaotic trying to control who knows how many kids running around a train.. and if all the other passengers are in and out as well.. could be a mess. Plus from working a summer camp before and having gone on a school trip.. it seems like they often hype up the kids with tons of sugar for those bus school trips.. I've yet to figure that one out.. |

Does the train thing seem.. ahmm.. like we're missing important details? Did you ever inquire about that one as well? |

i think, what it is (i've not enquired into it too much coz i have other commitments, is that it is a long weekend. you meet on friday am, and you travel with the kids etc to the camp (basically looking after them etc etc) then you do the usual camp thing and come back late sunday or early monday. you teach inbetween and do the normal stuff you do at a camp. i think, by now, she has filled the vacancies. |
